Genus - Sisrynchium
Sisyrinchium is more commonly called blue-eyed grass. There are over 175 species in the Genus. The name Sysirinchium is derived the Greek "sisyra" the word for a goat's hair coat. The corms of some of this genus resemble this coat. This genus is in the same family as iris and similarities in the leaves blooms and corms are plentiful.
